It took us a while to pick the right hotel, but when I saw No 38 The Park, it was love at first sight.
A gorgeous boutique hotel with beautiful bedrooms, and dream worthy bath tubs too.
It was just out side of the busy town centre, but close enough to walk in and out in the evening [for some food and cocktails, of course!]
We spent the morning browsing the shops, and pretty gardens, stopping for hot chocolate and cake on the way. We checked in as soon as possible and was blown away by the gorgeous interior in the whole hotel as well as our beautiful room.
We upgraded our room, so we got a free standing bath [that may have been my idea] and I was thrilled with the one we were given. It was beyond stunning and I could have just stayed there all day and all night.
There was a gorgeous park just opposite, with a lovely lake, houses that lined the streets and flowers and green grass for miles. It was really the perfect afternoon to walk around, although it did make me miss the dogs some what! I do hope we can visit again with the dogs, and see if it lives up to our dog friendly needs, as well.
The evening was full of wine drinking, food eating and generally relaxing in the gorgeous surroundings, it was just so lovely to get away from it all.
