Westonbirt Enchanted Christmas

Friday, 25 November 2016

From 25th of November until the 18th December, every Friday, Saturday and Sunday evening, Westonbirt Arboretum host Enchanted Christmas.
A festive event that illuminates the stunning trees of Westobirt, with fun interactive games along the way.

The light up trail in around a mile long, of Westonbirt paths. Being wheelchair and pushchair friendly, means that it's perfect for all the family, and certainly great to get you in the Festive spirit.

As well as the gorgeous illuminated trees, there's also other things to see and do. Meet Father Christmas, and have story time with Mrs Christmas. A craft is set up, where you can make your own Christmas Cards, and my gorgeous nephew loved his ride on the carousel while we sipped the perfect hot chocolate...with cream and marshmallows [of course!]
As well as this different bands and choirs play throughout the evening, getting you into the festive spirit as well as being able to buy lots of cards and gifts in the shop, that also stays open to welcome you.

Sadly this event heads along the non dog paths, and so this isn't a dog friendly event, so we had to leave Sev and Lily at home for the evening.

Advance booking is required and there are different time slots [from 5-8pm] where you can enjoy the trail, so it doesn't get too busy and you can enjoy it. Children under 5 go free, and even Jax at 18months old loved it! Adults are £12 and it's great to get friends and family together and drink some mulled wine.

  1. That looks wonderful. So much nicer than a load of fake snow and gaudy stuff. Not so wonderful about the non-dog bit, mum always takes me to see the real reindeers at our local garden centre!
